No Agenda!

I have written many times about how a clear personal agenda can contribute to a happy and successful life. I have also blogged about the dangers of accidentally falling into the agenda of strangers.

And just today I heard this beautiful sentence:

„The difference between hearing and listening is:
To listen means to hear somebody without my own agenda. „

This sentence appealed to me on so many levels, especially since I keep writing about agenda and listening. The woman who pronounced it completely nailed it, linking two of my favorite topics in a way that was previously unclear to me!
I thank Liudmila for relinking it and making it so clear!

So – having an agenda is great!
To be able to push it aside at the right time is even greater!
