Cognitive Dissonance

I am fascinated by the phenomenon of „Cognitive Dissonance“.

It is the word for situations, where you do things that you don´t want to do, but then do them anyway –  where two contradictory beliefs in one person clash into each other.

For example:
– You want to live healthy, but you keep smoking.
– You love animals, but you consume animal products all the time.

So obvious...

When you want to achieve something, like lose 5 kg or start eating healthy, meet your friends more, start a blog or write a book – just start with it and do it:

Just start to eat less and move more, eat vegetables more than everything else, invite your friend, start to write instead of looking for the next shortcut, the newest diet, social app, lifehack or expert-thesis.

Du wirst beim Zuhören immer saurer, wütender oder enttäuschter und Du stehst auf und fängst an, Dir alles von der Seele zu schreiben.
